Hello, after some single rod sleeves.
Rods are 12"6 so i guess 13" would be the go - so far the solar and thinking anglers has caught my eye.....anyone have any feedback or is there something better. Don't want to spend a fortune

Not had solar, but have had most other brands. Nothing ive found comes close to the thinking anglers sleeves. I have 7 of them now. Havent found any issues with them. Only thing id add is a lead pocket on each sleeve, but thats a minor thing

Always found cotswold make the best rod protection but you will pay a premium for them so probably outside your budget unless you go second hand.

I ditched the Cotswold trident for the thinking anglers stuff. Cotswold is well Over priced in my opinion, i have a camera bag by them, only one of that style i could find and they had my pants down for it. Its ok, but nothing special, same as with the rod bag. The strap look like its come off some cheap, free giveaway holdall.

Korda compac padded sleeves are one of the best I've seen in a long time.

All my luggage is speero better thought out than cotswold and just as well made but rod protection is still cotswold. Yes its expensive but thats not an issue as the protection it offers in my opinion cant be bettered. Ive had a few bits of thinking anglers luggage over the years and it was ok but nothing special.

Cheers boys, i was leaning towards the thinking anglers after doing a search on here.
The solar was the only other option i think really but have ordered 3 of the thinking anglers. on sale at the tackle tavern at the mo so only 16 quid each.

I use the TA ones, well made and they give good protection.
I've got the solar ones,very well made and I like the rack the zip is on the spine of if this no chance of trapping and damaging your line in the zip 👍👍👍

I have some from Cult Tackle, very impressed with them, much better than some shimano ones I have and they didn't cost a fortune.
