I'm hesitating for March-April on a new biwy.
I'm hesitating between the two following models: Trakker 100t and Cyprinus Typhoon MH.
I'm looking for a very very very fast biwy and 150 cm high. That's why I'm hesitating on these two models.
So it's for quick nights, max 48h. That's why I have a budget of 450e
I already had the 100t and was happy with it. With the recent auctions, I got to know the Cyprinus brand. By negotiating, I get the MH Typhoon at about 415 euros.
So, which model will you go for? Knowing that if I buy extra equipment for the 100t I will be almost at the same price as the MH.

I've had both models you have mentioned and the Typhoon MH offers more internal space but if you are not looking to buy till march April time maybe look at the new Sonik AXS XL very similar design as the tempest and typhoon but with the added bonus of the built in peak thats due to be available by april looks great at £399.99 and comes as a complete bivvy has decent head height and more internal space. I'm considering one myself as I liked the AXS bivvy but just found it bit to small but the XL version looks some much better

Those Sonik bivvs look good initially, shame about the poor vents, or lack of vents, what were they thinking? In mid summer you'd be melting like a lolly in the sun.
Do these companies actually have real field testers, or do they just design things, punt them out there and see what sticks, or is it just a bunch of yes men getting free gear who never upset the apple cart coz muh free gear?

Both the new sonic bivvies I have seen pics of have good sized twin rear vents. Looking at the good sized front vents I would say ventilation shouldn't be much of an issueYou seem to have a real thing about being hot. Do you fish in the UK outside August?

My man, I'm just a hunk of burning love ❤️
I've go with two large dogs, so things can get quite hot in the summer all crammed inside a bivv. Those Sonik rear vents look more like slits or paper cuts than vents.

at worst, I think I can get a fast and light, as it seems to be 138 cm high

Never seen the Cyprinus, but got the 100T last summer and wish I had gone Trakker years ago. So easy to set up and pack down, lightweight, roomy, good vents and build quality overall.
The height is fantastic, so good over a standard brolly that I will probably buy a spare one to use when this one finally gives up the ghost.

Every experience I have had with Cyprinus has been crap, in my opinion they are cheap for a reason and I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now.

I have had the opposite.......I have owned 2 Cyprinus bivvys which have been great with no issues at all......had a tempest brolly and the stitching started coming away around 2 poles on the roof section and bolts came off the block........will see what the Typhoon is like but for the price I paid for it if I get a season or 2 out of it then great......
