Maybe a stupid question, but how do you alter the position of the shockleader knot to the back of the reel spool prior to casting? To prevent the line leaving the spool at the start of the cast catching the knot or tag ends?
Can't find a video anywhere, TIA.

Open your bale arm let line out and wind it back on by hand putting knot in the position you want it.

As you reel in just pull the knot down to the bottom of the spool and hold it there. A few more turns of the handle and it will stay in place.
