Anyone on here remember using Rod Hutchinson's Ultraspice base mix back in the day? What did it contain? Some people say it was based on a protein mix, others a bird food mix, or even a simple 50/50 mix. Others claim it contained robin red and others say it didn't. Can anyone help?

Used the red seed mix a lot with ultraspice, cinnamon EA and spice bait sense appeal
Just remembered did use the Ultraspice on occasion and if I recall was more a 50/50 protein /soya basemix with added spices
There was no robin red in it that's why I preferred the re seed mix

From memory, mainly a carb mix with a low level of milks. Lots of powdered sweet spices, cinnamon, Bunspice type aroma. And definitely had yeast in it. As mentioned, no Robin Red. It was brown and very sticky.

Should be easy enough to knock up something similar. I have recently made a nice basic yellow seed mix (binders, carbs, milks and a lovely honey infused yellow egg/ birdfood) and was myself thinking about changing a few bits of the mix for a spicier, redder bait
