Hi All,

Has anyone got any experience of this place? Appreciate it's a hard venue to get a slot on and it's a waiting game to see if a place becomes available but thought I'd do some research to see what people thought of it whilst I wait in hope.

Fished it for 3 weeks over about 10 years.

First time back in 2005 or 6 I think.

All swims produce fish.

When I first went swim 4 was the going swim and I was lucky to get in there. Did well .
Swim 4 was not so prolific on my last 2 trips.

If I was to pick the best of the bunch I would say;

Swims 2, 3,4 10 &11.

When I went last (some years ago) you could not bivvy up in swimm11 (right down the end)as it's snaggy and you need to be on your rods. However you could fish it under an umbrella.

If that's still a rule definitely worth taking an umbrella. I did went in there and did very well.Only use 2 rods in there it's tight

Don't ignore the Margins.

Great lake worth a visit

Wholly agree all pegs produce fish.

Actually I said that!

To be honest it's probably one of the most "even" venues in France I have been to. Even if you come last out of the draw you are still in with a chance.

Just a quick question?

When did it change hands?

I know Fred sold it to Lee Bowler a while back.

Didn't see it advertised?

Reason I am asking, I am actually looking to buy a French Fishery. Been looking a while (nearly brough one pre-Covid but my house sale was delayed). I would have been interested in Lesmont.

I'm now a cash buyer but didn't see Lesmont advertised anywhere. And I thought I had located all the likely listing sites?

is there a market place listing site I am missing?

Again ,didn't see it for sale?

I am sure there is a grapvine or advertising listing I am missing.

I look almost every day, then I hear "such and such a lake sold" and I didn't know it was even for sale!

So is it just a grapevine I am not on or am I not aware of a listing website.

I mainly look at;
Legget
Aquest
French Property Links
Lakes for Sale France
and a few general french property websites

Yet never saw Bluewater or Lesmont advertised anywhere?

A pointer would be appreciated!

Loved the place when Fred had it .
Some of the best fishing I ever had .
Fond memories 😍
Don't go anymore due to health issues .
