I am thinking about joining the club that has Calf Heath Reservoir near Cannock.

Have any of you fished this water and if so what is it like.

I am after a water for day time fishing and am not after monsters but want a good chance of catching a fish or two.

Its a relatively easy runs water. Nice size and venue for lots of methods from margin to range. Full of carp to 20's. Mainly doubles.

Thanks for the info, what is the accessibility like as I can't barrow loads of gear long distances anymore and is it flat?

Had a walk round last week and it looks good, my only concern is the noise from the M6 and A5.
