For a couple of years, did very well (size, not numbers) on the big pit they have by the river, that's until it got raped by the EE's. Now an utter sh1t hole I am sorry to say. Also, as it's been progressively opened up, the number of dog walkers, joggers and walkers is insane. Wouldn't take a piss in the place now. Such a shame, when it was left to nature, it was an awesome water and we caught some awesome fish from it as well. Let's just say the Lea Valley carp record was getting nudged... else, well, they have the Pretty Pit at Abbotts, caught my first 20 from there when I was a kid, but now it's a pastie water... they have the Lee of course, which if you work at it, does have some good carp to 30 ish - but again, too many people about most of the time. So, in a nutshell, don't bother
Other clubs and waters in the LV that offer way more than WAC.

Dont bother with ware angling , roydon marina lake full of bream , pretty pit silty Snaggy full of silvers and knob head bailiff's , tumbling bay lake has been decimated by poachers . consortium s like turnford pits full of idiots
