Hi all, been thinking of joining this club and just wondered if anyone is or has been a member and could give me a heads up as to what it's like, I'm not after monsters and happy to fish for 20's just looking for somewhere nice and quiet.

I have been a member for a number of years, mainly for the pike in the winter.
The Mill has carp in it to just over 20, but they are very far & few in-between, a 20 out of the Mill is a good fish. Little Rowfant has a lot of carp, but mainly singles and a few doubles, its good fun especially in the winter.
They also have Piltdown pond which has got carp in, with the rumour of the occasional 30, but I believe that just before the club took on Piltdown some of the carp disappeared.
The club is very match focussed, but its a nice club and I enjoy fishing it.

Great stuff, cheers Paul, is it the case of a 24hr rule on all waters or can you do longer on piltdown as from looking at the piltdown rules it states if fishing the island you must vacate after 24hrs but doesn't say whether you can stay for longer in other swims. Have you had a go on any of thr River sections at all as I quite fancy having a go for some river carp.

Piltdown always had rumours of bigger fish but I've never heard of anything bigger than low 20s. There was always talk of thefts both tackle and fish. These are a thing of the past but doubt there's anything of size left in there

Thanks Joe, do happen to know much about the river sections as I really fancy having a go for a river carp as well as maybe having a go for the barbel and chub at some point.

Lol think I'm just gonna join and find out for myself, not like its a lot of money especially as I can get a half year ticket for 45 quid, thanks for the info.
