Hi all, does anyone have the 6 leg fox flatliner with the single pole at either end? I am in the market for a more comfortable bed chair and looking at systems. Being 6ft 4 and 18stone I wonder if it would be suitable for me? I know they do a solid 8 leg but what I can tell the 6 sleep is quite heavy and imagine the 8 leg is even heavier. I also don't need or want really long legs on it due to bivvy height issues, mainly if I want to use it under my brolly at all.
Would be grateful for any advice.
I have read lots of gd things about the solar system so it anyone has compared the 2 that would be great as well. I do love the fox sleeping bags though and have the fox ventec, being tall it's perfect and I like the fact I can pull it right over my head as well.

I had mine for 4 years and slept on it A LOT due to my Mrs not liking me much for a period of that time. I ain't exactly small. At my biggest I was 18st and it coped.

6 leg flatliner mk2 is in my opinion one of the best beds available. Very warm with the 3 season bag. And very comfortable. And very stable . And I've been through most beds . The fox stood out above the all. Again this is just my opinion . Things changed for me health wise so I let my son in law have it and I'm now using the duralite. If it weren't for the weight I'd still be using it .

You really don't need the 5 season bag the 3 season is plenty warm enough 👍 cuts the weight down to 17kg with the 3 season bag

Yep I've had the mk2 flatliner 6 leg 3 season since it was released great bedchair I find the 3 season sleeping bag plenty warm enough for all year round use and the single legs at either end are plenty stable enough

Thanks both, I take it the back only has one layer, so if I went with 5 season I wouldn't have multiple layers to choose from? I do have a ventec which has the inner currently removed so effectively a 3 season which I could use in summer with 5 season removed which was my thinking around going with that option. I do like to be warm tho and the sherpa lining does look nice and warm

There's no layers they are individual sleeping bags . I use a 3 season all year round and also have a vrs1 bed cover if I need it . Which up to date I haven't done

I do have a trakker thermal cover I can use, just don't want to leave myself cold in the depths of winter.

I have the 3 season bag and I wouldn't use it through the autumn and winter personally. I was frozen last time out
