Hello all has any got any information regarding crown lakes Peterborough? As I've been offered a winter ticket midweek?
Does it get busy and is safe to fish here

Yes it's safe
Love the lake, but it's pretty tough fishing.

It is safe for a public lake....but it is just that so you will not be in complete isolation. My mate fishes it and has never had a problem but he does tend to sleep during the day and stay up most of the night. He has had a couple of occasions where there are definitely people around in the dead of night but he hasn't had any bother...

Someone said a otter got on there last year
How true that is I don't know
Not expecting it to be easy looks a lovely venue
Just hope the rewards are worth the journey

An Otter did get in but was captured within days.

On the people in the park at night, that does happen (more so in the summer) but personally not heard of any anglers having a problem with them.
