I've recently moved to Sittingbourne and was wondering if anyone can recommend any decent lakes in or around Sittingbourne or the surrounding areas. I've had a look around and not found much apart from a lake in a country park and one in a housing estate. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated thanks.

There is some stunning fish in the back lake you mention. There is sittingbourne angling club, 4 lakes on the complex carp to over 30lb and £125 a year. Ask at angling direct sittingbourne for a form. Just along the a2 there a few lakes in Faversham on the mid Kent ticket.
