Hi folks,

For small waters upto say 50 yards is this rod worth a consideration against the es 2.75 ?

Pricey I know but would go second hand route.

I would phone 'the tackle shop' and speak to them, I believe Lee Jackson may use these.
I would also definitely consider Harrisons 'accurix'

Ive had es's and hi s in 2.5 and now have a set of century graphenes in 2.5 and they are in a different league to the es and hi s. Much lighter and more responsive blank, there not much more expensive than the hi s as well. I picked up a brand new pair of century 2.5 graphenes for £500 so theres bargains out there, they still had there tags on them and had never been used. I prefered my es over the hi s 2.5's, they had a much nicer action.
