Need a new radio fir fishing any recommendations for something small that gets good signal

Sony icf p26 am/fm, about £20 and 100 hours use from 2 AA batteries.

I use it most Saturdays and Sunday , I change the batteries maybe a couple of times a year , just depends how often you use it I suppose

if you want a very small bomb proof radio that will pickup a signal anywhere then stick to a MW LW FM one instead of a DAB radio
also the advantages apart from amazing reception is incredible battery life the original one that can still be picked up S/hand on Ebay (there are some on their now )
is the Roberts R9924 Three Band Portable had mine around 17 years
used to pick up English radio in France while others could not I still use it at night leaving it on just audible under my bed but the rats can hear it and if you leave it on radio 4 thats mainly talking you wont ever get any rats come in your bivvy how do I know if Im asleep ?
simple I have a couple of trail cameras mice however will come in
sensor lights dont work rats ignore them

The 925 is a brilliant little fishing radio, batteries last ages
