Was just wondering if anyone had used a wafter with a fake piece of corn on top and wether it was effective? I currently just use the cc Moore pacific tuna wafters and scatter the boilies around it was freebies but ain't been the greatest. Maybe a piece of the corn will help! Any info would be great

People are always quick to blame their bait when they don't catch, when in reality it's one of the last things which would be at fault if using something of reasonable quality. A little bit of plastic won't help you, it's obviously not being put in the right place. Best thing to do with plastic baits is chuck them in the bin.

A sight marker wont hurt if you want to try it. Sometimes it does the trick. It won't overcome bad presentation or wrong location. Find feeding fish and the problem will solve itself.

They're just carp, put any quality bait in front of them and they'll eat it.
Just a question on what you're currently doing, have you checked that the wafter is balanced with the weight of the hook? If it's not you could be fishing a 10inch pop up.

Yeah the bait and hook is fine it balances properly, I'm just trying to figure out and see if there is a way of bringing more attraction to my bait? I do scatter a matching boilie around the wafter but was just wondering if anyone had any successful experiences using the corn as maybe a eye catcher

Yeah done it before in the past with sticky krill wafters seemed to do alright but wouldn't use any fake corn/ bait now, get yourself some northern special yellow wafters cut them in half and use them on top of the wafters will do the same job as a colour attractor.
Tbh I'm not a fan of cc Moore tuna but if you like it then as others have said any decent bait will catch if put in the right spot.

I have succesfully used a very thin slice off a stick of yellow foam to add colour to a bait without having any real effect on size or buoyancy. Works well with small dumbell baits in a bag.
