Hi guys,

looking for a lake for next year and came across Lac D'arcy.
Anybody ever fished it?
Any feedback would be welcome..😁

Hi Roy, thought you already knew about that lake a long time ago? It used to be owned by my friend Wayne Everitt but he sold up quite a few years ago. Think it is mainly fished by Dutch guys and maybe owned by a Dutchman, certainly advertised by a Dutch booking agent. In my day it had some big fish stocked but seems like very little information on the internet about the lake and catch results, is it still open even? Maybe time for you to try my old lake again, sadly I won't there!

I fished this venue in 2010 along with my wife. we had a good week with fish from upper 20's + 30+ and 40+ also had the Big Mirror out at 57.04lbs, although this had dropped in weight from over 60+ lbs. wife had a PB as well at 45+lbs. This was when Wayne owned it and Mark was the Bailiff. We used a Bait Boat dropping a mixture of particle and chopped Boilie's. But do not think a Bait Boat is a must, It had mobile home on there at that time bur not certain if it is still there. the showers and toilets were fine. It does have an island at one end of the lake which was quite weedy around it. Shops not extremely close but only a short drive away.

You've got the Goncourt complex right next door with multiple lakes all holding massive fish. If you can get on them, then I would recommend Goncourt every time.

Have a look on You Tube Roy, I watched a video on there a while back on Lac Darcy and it has grown up somewhat to when I fished it.
Are you sure?
