After some advice please and thanks in advance for any replies
I have recently purchased an as new original tempest bivvy, I have never had one only an Air with overwrap.
So can anyone tell me what, if any, model skull caps and cap wraps will fit it?
I understand that I will have to convert to take the spigots which isnt an issue I have been given a spare set of poles which I can do something with, I just want to know which version I should be looking at to make double skinned.

The advanced bivvy 100 is what has replaced the original v1 and v2 tempest bivvy system which had the front and rear vents

I have the original Bivvy too and mine has a V2 scull cap
the plastic mesh on the rear vents and front will crack and split so it was a lot cheaper to get Army Andy to replace it than buy a new bivvy
I actually got him to replace the front vents with clear panels as if its chucking it down its nice and bright inside and can see out
if it hot enough for the front vents to be open I would rather remove the front all together

I have some spare poles from an original bivvy which I have cut down and will araldite to those 3 poles on fromt to take spigots.
Did you have to do any other mods or do the clamps which hold velcro straps fit okay to the poles?

If you can get hold of Trakker, you can get the V2 Bivvy, pole holders for the skull cap..
I did the same on the original V1 Bivvy, and also got Army Andy to do the vents all round front and back.

no I moved from Harefield village a few miles to Hillingdon and yes skull cap clamps fit ok
I will add I bought this second hand from a forum member and it had the skull cap fitted with the Army andy anti twist pole mods done
