I need some advice regarding these rods. I have an oportunity to purchase a new set. Looking for some info about them from personal experience. Im sellin a set of some stiff as hell 13 footer and looking for some rods at 12 ft to feel a bit better in hand and for playing fish. I mostly ffish at a big pit casting from 90 to 120 meters. Wondering if the ctx 12 ft 3,5 lbs fit all those categories i would have also been up for the stepped up version but they are out of stock at the shops.

They're nice rods. I had the 12ft 3.25s so can't vouch for the exact spec, but I think they'd be well suited to what you need.

An alternative if you're interested might be the Sonik Dominator X RS 12ft 3.5s.... very light with minima rings and put a lead a very long way, but not broomsticks.

The rod im selling is the sonik dominator x rs 13 ft 3,5.
Heavy heavy and terrible for playing fish, tho they cast miles literally.
They reminded me that distance is not everything, that playing fish is actually more important.

The shimano TX range are worth a look, mates got a set, great casting rods but decent playing action.
