Off to Charlie lake on the goncourt complex in a couple of weeks and looking for some info....

Don't think many people have fished anywhere recently in France judging by the other threads on the forum and in particular by asking questions about the Covid test requirements which seem to go ond on! I don't think that it will matter what baits you use, the fish will be hungry and why would you try and take out baits from the UK that somebody has reported a good catch on when yours could be confiscated
I wish you good luck on your trip, do your own thing including risk analysis.

Always like take my own bait and will do in the future with the exception of Goncourt lakes where their maize is as good as anything so for Charlie lake I wouldn't bother just use their maize and chill particle mix
