What they like for size ? Want some for the winter so they'll need to go over more clothing!

"SNUG" I'd go up a size, ideally need two pairs as they fit over my lightweight trouser but I would say if wearing thicker layers in the winter I would go bigger than your normal fit as I doubt mine will go over the top of layers.
