For some reason on my Nikon d330” when I set the intervelemeter it focuses the camera and the camera makes the beam of light to say it's taking a pic but won't actually take 🤷‍♂️ Worked fine before but just started doing this. Is there something in the settings I've changed by accident

Is it light enough to find the ‘subject' had it before when it was so dark it did same thing

This is doing this when trying in broad daylight. Could it be the intervelemeter itself? Just weird that it seems to tell the camera to focus and it does but won't fire a pic

Are you using live view? Does it work when not in live view?

My Canon did this recently. My intervalometer wasn't pushed in properly, took me ages to work it out
