Just thought I'd share a short review on the new fox khaki easy mate after getting my hands on one earlier this week.
First impressions of it are great. Fox said they wanted to improve the original and I personally think that is what they've done!
Option to inflate with air is a great feature if needed.
Added a couple of pegging points which is also handy.
Now has a full cover, elasticated and velcro.
Only low point I can add is the bag it comes in. Zip still feels fragile, if that's the right word.
Standard priced at £99 or XL at £119.
Prices are a bit steep but sure they'll come down in time.
Still it's worth shopping about as I managed to get the XL for £103 from tackle-up.
Overall, it's a well improved bit of kit and looking forward to it getting plenty of use.
I hope this review can be of some use.
Cheers folks

Fox could have made much better improvements and copied what like solar did with their version of the easy mat which has end support arms also fibre glass bars that slot in the front and back of the cradle for the flexi middle making it more ridged part of the cradle and comes with much better quality bag and is £30 cheaper

Happy with my XL easy mat on the whole. Sides could do with a tad more tension for those flappy fish but other than that 👍. Sorted the pegging issues by fixing two paracord loops on opposite diagonals.
