Looking for a lake in the North of England, syndicate or club preferable, but happy to tackle a day ticket. I'm up in Scotland having moved from Essex and really struggling and realising how spoilt I've been previously.
Have fished some decent syndicates in Essex and Cambridge, so have references if required for syndicates or club tickets.

I spent some time N of the border. Overall I liked it.
For carp I used to travel to Wyreside and 3 Lakes Selby.
Did have a look at Lanark Loch but didn't fish it.
In the end I got fed up with travelling and went piking and fly-fishing.
There were a couple of good articles in recent Carpology's on the Scottish Carp scene.
