I use the spool to spare spool method when I spool up but never done this with fluorocarbon. I presume it works just as well as mono? Any tips to stop it coiling and putting it on correctly?

I do my the old fashioned way get the wife to hold it on a pencil or something similar and l wind it on under tension with a cloth against the rod any other way l find it coils up just can't risk any slack at all or your in trouble but would be interesting to know how others manage it, l always give it a stretch before use tie it to something and walk it out and then a few gentle cast and one with a spin doctor

I spooled with some tiger line for the first time last season,been incredible fishing slack lines,honestly think its caught me more fish as it sinks so well but last session i used wrap sticks and it was a nightmare for frapping up as soon as the tension was taken off the line on the sticks
