Anyone know of a day ticket that responds well to floaters? With all this hot weather looking for a days floater fishing. Will to travel around an hour from doncaster

I remember seeing Tim Paisley fishing there in the late 80"s

The old roundwood ponds that have been abandoned back of steelworks near Dalton off mushroom round about. Free fishing just a pain to walk down to with tackle but took nephew Sunday for a few hours and had 9 carp each of the top free lined bread was nice sport nothing huge but plenty of sport from the doubles with light tackle and who knows what still swims in there still also free the canal from Rotherham all way up to Sheffield has plenty taking off the top and definitely has carp that will surprise the weighing scales

I've been going to the canal at Sheffield while it's been warm, I've had 1 in about 4 trips 16lbs 10, was well chuffed with it, theres some a lot bigger but they are very switched on. Will keep trying them though 👍🏽
