Can anyone recommend a cooler box for keeping meat and other food fresh and of course keeping the beers cold? Nothing too expensive. I don't want to spend much on it so no more then £40 absolute maximum! I'm just starting out building up gear to start doing night fishing and instead of forking out for a bivvy table I'll probably use the cooler box for that too!

Its ok but the one in my link is more efficient according to the which magazine report and the vango is bigger too

I like the Which reports for instance the Coleman mentioned below
Poor insulation it let itself down on the most important function, insulation. It increased in temperature by 8.7°C across the day, coming second to last of the coolers overall.

the best buy surprised me
Best Buy DeWalt TOUGHSYSTEM DS404 COOLER 25.5 litres was the closest of the coolers to matching the electric cooler's performance. Its temperature increased by only 0.8°C more than the Outwell electric cooler.
