Hi anyone on here use the gowi Ospreay boat.thinking of getting one but are there other ones that do what they say do

I haven't however a fellow angler pal has one and absolutely loves it. What's making you swing toward the Gowi compared to others?

I have bought a GOWI osprey baitboat this year but I have only used it a few times so cannot comment on longevity but function wise it does exactly what it says in the adverts.
I chose it for a couple of reasons, I couldn't afford a rt4 loaded with the features that come as standard with the osprey. Secondly I wanted the features all on one handset, why? Because I fish in all weathers and bankside conditions, I didn't want to have to mix and match handsets, tablets and mobile phones. For instance on one water I often have to wade through shallow margins to launch my boat, with the osprey I just carry the handset on a lanyard around my neck.
What do I think of it, well so far I'm impressed, the sounder is accurate and shows silt and weed very well. The GPS allows you to save points extremely easily with a couple of button presses. The autopilot is a fantastic feature and makes fishing an absolute ease once your points are set the boat finds them over and over again with surprising accuracy. The motorised hoppers are another feature I really like, they are long enough for most rigs and sealed enough to use particles and groundbaits.
One thing to remember is that this is a big boat, but that is what I wanted, I fish big waters and I need a boat that can cope with a decent amount of waves and swell, so far the osprey has coped remarkably well but I'm looking forward to using it in some really rough weather.
