has anyone tried the RM flouro coated mainline and what were your thoughts

Utter *****,coils badly and does not sink aswell as I thought it would.Its the old Ultima power carp apparently.It was on my spools for two sessions

go to a reputable line manufacturer...if you want a copied rebadged item of gash,look at ridgemonkey

The tacklebox line tests suggest otherwise unless I am looking at the wrong lines.

Can see the RM mono on the tests but not the RM fluoro coated mono but the one I have got is an older version.

The RM mono is in the mono section and the flouro in the flouro section lol
I use this and it behaves well, casts better than a pure flouro but not as good as a mono and sinks well. For me it is a good hybrid between the two.

It's not a fluoro though is it,its just coated.I didn't get on with it nor did a lad I fish with.I liked the ultima power carp but even that changed I found after I respooled with it

It's a coated flouro and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

I meant about the tacklebox putting it under fluoro,if you like the line then fair play to you.I didn't like it and think ESP syncro is better in every department

I tried it lasted 3 or 4 sessions then got rid not a good line in my opinion . Shimano techniuim Invisitec for my mono or gardner 22lb hydrosink for braid
