Any users of the deeper pro is it better to buy the plus or is the standard one ok feedback please

plus has GPS so can make accurate maps from the bank
but neither are much good in shallow water but the new Chirp models are ok in shallow water

Like Gerry has said the pro offers gps mapping which allows you to map a lake or swim and save that data with gps data.
I personally have the standard, I then clip up and note how many wraps and depth a feature/spot is. The app saves your recordings so can always replay the data back
Don't know what the GPS feature provides/adds, maybe someone can enlighten me?
