Hi, I'm staying in the cottage for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions/advice? Thanks

I fished the cottage a few years ago early april, had one within the first few hours on maggot as the wind was pushing down the lake into the cottage swim,the wind swung round ate that evening and I didnt have another touch all week. loads of bars and features out infron so make use of a marker or a echo sounder.
lovely place, bailifs helpful owners are nice....enjoyed the break and would definitely go back

It's a decent place, but you really do have to find your spots in the weed, so an echo sounder on your bait boat is a must in my opinion.
Either that or you need to be spot on with the marker rod.
They also like a lot of bait, and I got through 70 odd kilos in the week that I was there, and had some very nice fish.
Listen carefully to what the bailiff tells you, and you won't go far wrong.
