Hi guys,

I have just bought 2 Shimano Big Baitrunner XTB reels. I would like to lock the handle folded by screwing the locking screw back tight but the handle just won't lock into place.

Does anyone know how and if this locking works?

They don't lock,same as my 5500s..A right pain in the hole.
I just use a thin rod band to hold them so they don't flop about.Shimano,what were they thinking.
