Hi Guys,
Quick quesiton, would i be better off using a 4lb t.c. 13ft rod or a 4.5/5lb 12 foot rod?
I tend to use a medium size spomb but sometimes the normal size one and don't fish anywhere where you need to cast over 100 yards.

a lot of it comes down to personal preference
You should be good for 100 yards with either of those rods and good casting technique.

I've been using the the MR Spomb rod since it came out and have to say It's been great. Easily hit 90-100 yards with a large Spomb (I'm using the Wolf version) and the medium to around 120 yards (Spomb version).
I also have a custom Torrix version which cost 3-4 times as much and I would say the Spomb is nicer to use over a longer period of baiting.

Use what yr comfortable with mate .
I can cast further with a 12 foot rod than a 13ft .
Iv the fox x5 spod rod in 12 ft and that is a beast 👌🏼
