Situation is that I am on the waiting list for a defiant fantail, but not sure how long that is likely to be.
In the mean time I want to get a functional pod that I can sell on when I get the defiant.

Any suggestions?

Must be able to have sticks pushed into the ground for fishing fairly tight clutches and be stable.

If u want a budget pod to see you through while u wait for your custom pod look at the sonik Vader x 3 rod pod

I'll second the Sonik Vader x 3 rod pod, cheap and does its purpose. My only gripe is the sticks can be a bit short especially when you push them into the ground. But, I have resolved that problem this weekend when I found my JRC sticks fit the pod perfect so now carry two of those.
