Just to let you know that toolstation are doing the mortar gun for 13 quid that's the same as the screw fox model that gets recommended on here at times.

It comes with a variety of nozzles. One is suitable for gunning out sausages.

Screwfix do a 5 pack of these nozzles for £1.49.

Just had a look into this a bit deeper and the next one up they do in the range is the Ultimate version which is black. More expensive but it looks more like the Gardner one at the nozzle end of the gun.

But still good value at 25 quid.

I may return my standard one and get the ultimate myself now.

Will do some links when back on the PC.

I've used the std roughneck gun and the ultimate one and tbh the ultimate is a better gun due to increased power, or so it seems to me. A big tip I was given to save the hands is to stand the gun upright on a worktop and apply downward pressure on the gun handle.. So much easier and quicker, although will depend on basemix holding together as the sausage comes out the top like a fountain.. Edit, if you fancy a go at the easier way then have a look on you tube and search. Boilies sausage but the easy way... https://youtu.be/c5fRn0zxH54
