Will be needing a dough mixer for 12 egg mixes.
Has anyone tried the hand held drill method - ie drill with dough mixing attachment ?
Is this a practical method ?

Think you'll kill your drill in no time at all. Why not just buy a cheap dough mixer? Won't do 12 eggs in one go but can do 6s no probs with mine, Bosch thing which cost about £40 from eBay

Hi
Plasterers drills are perfect for 30 egg mixes. Just buy a heavier duty whisk attachment. Plenty of good ones about on ebay and screwfix for around the £80-£100 bracket. They also give you a speed control and mine has been going for 3 years now having been used at least 3 times per week.
I hope that helps?

Thanks folks.

Picked up a kenwood A701 mixer today.
This model ran from 1962 to 1978.
The condition is almost brand new.
Should be fine for 6 egg mixes.

ive got a A901 which is the 300/400W motor and is ok for the mix i used which uses 590ml of egg to 1KG of dry mix
the Dough hook works ok but comes together quicker using the paddle but puts alot of stress on it.
750g mixes with the paddle likely be fine
