How's everyone getting on with the Compact? I had the original larger one but was slightly too big for what I need, shame as it was very well made and thought out

I had the modular rucksack and like you found it far to big . For me the compact does everything I need . Can get all my gear in . And use on the barrow for long pushes and longer trips . And on my back where there is no access for a barrow. All in all a very well thought out rucksack.

Does anyone know how it compares size wise to the Thinking anglers one?

I had the Cotswold vulpine which was a very close comparison to the thinking anglers rucksack . Which I think is around 35 litres . The speero compact I say is around 10 litres bigger 👍

I use 2 rod with delkims attached and it fits depends how long your buzz bars are

Jag 2+1 bars with fox alarms fit perfectly, only an inch or two spare space....

I have Jag 3-rod adjustables with Delkims so hoping this will be ok . Currently have a trakker 50ltr rucksack so hoping this will be a similar size , thanks.
