Looking at spooling up with a sinking braid and have been advised Katran sinking braid is a good choice although cant find too much info on it, durability, casting, colour degrading etc ?


I also noticed they do a mono, Katran synapse which at 18lb but with a 0.33 diameter which is interesting however not much feedback, abrasion resistance being main concern?

Hi there,
Can't comment on the braid but tried the line and consigned it to the bin after a couple of sessions on a snaggy lake, chaffed and frayed, maybe I was just unlucky??

Thanks yes 'mi moving very quickly away from that mono but braid still sounds promising.
