Got a couple of days booked at berners in a few weeks time. I've never fished it so after other people's opinions.
Anyone been recently?

If it's windy, make sure you're battened down as the wind ripping off the fields surrounding is off the charts insane if it's more than 20mph. A 40mph wind is like being in a hurricane.

I don't fish it now but watch out for nods with bait boats, don't neglect the margins if the wind stirs it up all milky

Really - so please explain why someone is a noddy for using a bait boat? A friend of mine who fishes that water has to use one as he's disabled after being in a bad car accident and now struggles with casting.

Gets very busy over the weekends and very weedy when I last fished it a couple of years ago .
