Does anyone own the Sonik AXS Shelter ( NOT THE FULL BIVVY SYSTEM ) does it come with storm poles a standard

No it doesn't come with storm poles, bought some separately...can't fault mine tbh, 6,4” and always struggled with brolly height, not with this one..

You're lucky Boris my shelter came without storm poles and I queried this with Uttings. They said the storm poles only come with the bivvy, but can be purchased separately.

Well i'm definitely buying some storm poles!
Just had mine drying off in the garden after fishing yesterday. All pegged down. Strong gust of wind and the shelter flipped over backwards taking the the front and a couple of the side pegs out of the ground!

Which one is everybody talking about the one with rear vents don't see the sense in making a brolly and the shelter only causes confusion can't see any mention of storm poles in adds

It's the shelter. You can add storm poles, front and groundsheet later. You can't add anything to the brolly

I have the bivvy, which is basically the same, you can remove the front.
Without the front you are relying on the pegging points at the widest part of the shelter, where the poles connect with the ground. You do not have wings like the tempest brolly which extend beyond the axis point and when pegged down provide an anchor for the peak.
However, add the front or the storm poles and you have a more robust structure.
Should still be secure enough without but as i found to my cost recently, if the pegs either side do not have a good purchase the shelter can easily be flipped.
