Hi guys been waiting for the Korda compact 13 ft rod bags to come back in stock because I heard good reports from the fishing shop I used but like everybody else they didn't have stock.
So anybody have the Korda rod bag that could give me a heads up to what there like. I have aviators and basil reels what are they like with 50mm ringing. I have 3 rods plus spod rod and can't make my mind up whether to go for the 5 rod or the 3 rod and a single sleeve for the spod/marker rod.
As an alternative maybe something like the solar undercover camo 3+2 rod bag and again a single sleeve for the marker/ spod. Again heard they are well made but didn't look last time I was in the shop.
Do you think having a separate sleeve for the marker is an advantage when you get to the swim to just get that out and plum up before emptying the car, or just go for the 5 rod.
Having the extra sleeve adds more cost just trying to justify it with reasons what do you guys think.
Rods and reels are pretty mint and I want to keep them that way some of the 3 up 2 down hold-all I have seen are not very well protected between the rods and I don't want the reels one end hitting the blank from the other rod at the opposite end.

Hi there mate I know it's an old thread but I'm currently in the same situation deciding which holdall to go for and what type of layout I want. Which Did you end up going with and what advantages and disadvantages have you found with what you use? I use 12ft rods myself but am considering a 13ft korda holdall as I've tried a 12ft and it's very tight getting rods in and out that I'm worried snapping the tip off 1
