I have the 5500s version and I love them, best reels I've owned. I would buy again tomorrow if I had to

same here had mine over 2years had loads of hammer lovely reel and they helped me cast a bit further,had basias 45qd before, nice reel but i prefer my ci14 xtcs. just my own experience.

Hi m8,
Been rocking the 14000 ci4 xtc for almost 2 years now. Cant fault them literally, they are light build like a tank proper workhorse and in my opinion they look damn good. To me a bonus i would also mention is u get 2 spools per reel which is perfect. The only nack i could nit pick is 1 of the 3 sounds a bit weirder but i dont mind it because they just do the damn job really well, and also im sure it will go away once i service them.

I have the 14000 on my Torrix and 5500 on my Scopes.... both absolutely faultless to this point. Smooth as silk and a great drag on them. Top reels which you certainly wont be dissapointed with.

Lol. I didn't realise they were going to be a complete b***ard to get hold off..... Might take a few months to get the set at a decent price but I'll have one next week to keep the enthusiasm going...

Update. 14/5. Shimano have informed angling direct to expect deliveries every month going forward so I have some ordered at £234 ea which is quite reasonable.
