I'm continuing my search for the ultimate landing net (I know, dymag - can't get in contact to order).
Currently using the defiant (heavy but maybe a tad stiffer) and/or matrix 3k (a tiny bit more flex than I'd like).
Looking at the torrix pole - I'm wondering if anyone has used this pole and can compare it in terms of stiffness to the matrix 3k or bulldog mk2 pole (which I also own). Weight wise it comes in the same as the 3k.

I have a Torrix landing net pole it's lovely. The tackle box kindly agreed to putting a snooker cue joint in and although it's what I wanted the joint isn't great. I've had to re-glue it and it needs it again. Compared to my Nash landing net (forgot the name) of 20 years ago being spot on. This will need some TLC.
None the less the handle is superb can't fault it as such.super light and strong ie easily controlled doesn't cause me concern in any way.
I can't directly compare however I use a top notch spreader block a gardner spreader arms and a matrix net (only net I could find in black) I've had to resew the net and I made a net float which looks superb but not boyant enough to be honest (work in progress).
It's the business though very happy with it in general. The Harrison pole is superb looks the nuts with my matt blank 2.5 TC Torrix

Sounds a similar set up to mine at the head end - i'm using a top notch block, albeit the aliminium version with a bulldog net and arms.

The torrix handles are superb very strong very stiff ,don't know about your comparison only the aviator plus extension,out of the two the torrix every time.I have used both and made and supplied both with no negatives but i find the aviator extension a bit cumbersome.
