Has anyone got a pond made from sleepers with a window in? I just want to know if anyone has had any issues getting a watertight seal with a normal liner and the glass using gold label? Or will I need to use a rubberised liner?

Did one last year, used a standard liner and a ton of silicone. It worked ok but there were some teething it issues with tiny leaks where the silicone hadnt beaded properly. If I were doing another I'd use a welded liner Tbh

Thanks mate, has it held ok now, it's likely only going to be up 3 years or so and didn't want to spend £250 on liner that will get binned after that

Yes mate, around 10 months now with no leak so should be all good now. If it's going to leak it will do it straight away
