Evening all,
I'm wondering if anybody knows anywhere where I might be able to source an adaptation for my Nash Zed Bed? I love my bed, but would prefer it to be a bit firmer.
If I can help it, I'd rather not have to fork out hundreds on a new bed, but love how the newer beds have the extra support underneath.
Does anybody know if it's possible to buy it as an upgrade, or knows anywhere that could make it?

That's the sort of thing that would do the trick. I might be able to use that as an idea and get someone (a little more domesticated than me) to make it...

You may have a point there. Instead of using the elastics, cable ties would create less stretch. Cheers

Buy some paracord of eBay and replace the middle section of the elastic on the bed chair with the paracord that will firm the mattress up

I've used computer networking cables to good effect instead of paracord or elastic cord, they have no give and will last pretty much forever, really firms things up. Check on amazon for 10m of CAT5 or if you know someone who is in IT they might be able to give you some.

Also, if you haven't already, look at getting a self inflating mattress (SIM) to put on the bed, I've got one and a lot of the guys on here swear by them, makes the bed much firmer, warmer and comfier, folds up inside the bedchair too.
Theres a few threads discussing varies SIMs available, worth checking out as this would be easier than changing the elastic/cord.

You can also plug your bed chair in and use it is a 4G booster aerial.
