Hi all I'm looking for somewhere in France for next year where I can take the mrs and has some accommodation next to the lake or nearby. A lake to ourselves would be preferred but not the end of the world if it is isn't. Not to fussed on how far from Calais and Must have a decent head of fish too.

Me and Tat have enjoyed five trips to Bounty in the mobile home with the Garden Swim attached and we can thoroughly recommend it. The Garden swim has been very productive for us over the years. Here are a few pix that may help you chose.

Try Etang le Fays mate,superb accommodation right next to the lake with the choice of 2 swims outside your front door.Big Carp up to 70lb+ and a fair few 60's also.Loads of fish come out every week so not to difficult either 👍

I would also recommend the lodge at Etang Le Fays but you said you were looking for a small lake so not sure if 18 acres would be too large for your requirements
