Hi l don't usually use a marker float but the venue l'm on a the moment as some good margin spots some near but most the far bank which you can't get too only about 50/60 yds max so need to check the depth so do you think l could get away with braid straight through without any leader if l use a thicker braid or will l get twists below the float only expecting it to be a couple of foot deep, any advice welcome thanks

Straight through is all I use 👍

I use TF Gear yellow banana braid in 30lb and use it for spodding using the tf gear air bomb which puts a lot a of shock through the braid and I've never had it snap good quality strong braid it will be perfectly fine using it for the distance you require straight through without any leader
