Ok thanks I really don't know how the river boys can recommend this brolly just spent 10 min trying to take it down it's under so much tension and a lot of faffing trying to put it up to me the storm caps should be on the front and the tilt is the same design as my £25 argos one disappointment to say the least

Maybe it's me how do you use yours spike in ground or storm rods on tilt or not which is best way thanks

mine is easy too, had it for years tho'.
I use it for days and moving about, so i don't bother with storm poles or removing central pole. Want it to go up and down quickly and provide shelter while on low chair. Couple of pegs and 'it does what it says on the tin'!

So you don't put spike in ground or on tilt so you have the pole next to you

I generally don't bother with stormpoles . I put my chair one side of the pole and push my barrow in the other side and keep every thing on the barrow and use it as a table

Hi, i use it with longer but light storm poles, you can vary height easier (have front high at times), spread stormpoles outwards & a bit forward(gets them out of the way), plus more solid/ stable. I remove center brolly pole.
Move storm pole adapters to higher ribs, use electricians tape to make stops.
Don't try to remove exsisting stops, there pinned on the ribs.
Well its how i like it.

ps never seen storm pole adapters for thick fibreglass ribs ?
But seen a pic of one lad with 4 adapters etc on it, must have drill smaller ones out ?
Mind he used it for quick nights with a bedchair under it.

Hi, guy who as done is well over 6 foot.
Got a small picture of set up, but can't do pictures.
He dosn't do nights in it as such.
He goes down to River Trent late evening, sets it up with 4 storm poles, bedchair under it.
Then as a sleep till just before it lights up.
By looks of pic, seems well OK length wise, but prob not getting as good a coverage width wise.
Worth trying it out, nothing to lose.
