Morning , managed to lose mine - any suggestions for a replacement strip ?

Go to Wickes buy some steel plate, its cheap, file the corners round so as not to cut bivvy fabric and also cover with shrink tube. Alternatively, chop a piece off the side wall off an old domestic appliance and likewise file it and shrink tube cover.
Or do what I do with a lot of magnetic lights, hooks etc, use 2p pieces as they are or covered in shrink tube or 10p pieces if your rich. I only cover them with shrink tube as magnets can be that strong it is easy to cut the bivvy material if you cockle the coin as you try to part them.
