Just sharing a find today that I believe they have just started selling as I had to get a price which was £15
Got it home and well chuffed don't have a bivvy Lamp and this can hang or sit on a bivvy table.
Has 3 brightness LED settings and you can choose to have the Zapper on or not!! Usefull when you nip out in the night for an urgent pee or a bite...wack this on when back in the bivvy and hopefully it's the UV light that is the target and not you!!
Its rechargeable with a charging USB lead and apparently lasts 20 hours on a charge. The light end is a soft cone end so won't crack you on the head..
Just need to test it now

The missus got me one a few years back, not sure from where though..cheap and cheerful, but it does zap the midges ...you rinse them off with your garden tap when you get home..... lasts a good few hours if you just use the blue bug zapping light..... I wouldn't solely rely on it though and i still soak myself in insect repellent

The only thing I found as with all these type of tights is it actually Attracts them into your bivvy so I only ever
Used mine when I went to sleep and let the mesh door hang down but of course a zipped up front would be perfect

I prefer the tennis racket type bug killer Aldi's sell for about £3. Then you don't have to wait for them to fly into a static trap of their own free will and before that they get you. I prefer to take the fight to them and kill them on sight and get the mozzie net up to stop them coming in. I do have a static one as a backup but it hardly gets any compared to smoking them with a racket.
Oddly enough, I found Boyes do the racket type for £2 a couple of years ago.

mozzies are amazing they can detect via your breath when you are asleep so often stay in the roof of your bivvy when breathing slows they drop down and bite you google it it will amaze you

I see Wolf tackle have just announced they are making a mozzi zapper now,I bet that won't be cheap
I have one of these I got it from Amazon. Some fella was bigging them up on Instagram. They are ok inside the bivvy with mozzi mesh down. But generally I just put that down and just kill them all before going to sleep. It's just another thing to carry.
