Hi all wonder if you can help me out
I've brought a mk3 2man double top extreme and I've got issues with the overwrap 😡

Putting the bivvy up is pretty easy standard pram jobbie

Now the overwrap came with extra poles

1 that goes over the bivvy and 3 small poles now my question is where do they go ???
I can't seem to find any points they fit in to?

My understanding is the peak of the bivvy act's as the frame to give you your porch so I've pegged at the rear then all round.

I've had to tilt the peak forwards so the overwrap fits all round ?? Not sure that's right but otherwise the overwrap doesn't fit properly
And the porch seems a bit flimsy???
I must be missing something the 3 poles have confused the hell out of me.

There's nothing on utube about the overwrap I've also googled it

If any of you lot know I'd appreciate it pictures would help 😆

I don't know if this helps ?
This video shows 3 short poles that tension the pramhood peak and push it forward tightly.

Thanks buddy but thats the bivvy tention bars for the peak.
Done that,I've got an issue with the overwrap not the bivvy itself

Problem solved 😌
I spoke to nash very helpful guy called Mike he gave me his number and asked me to do a video and pictures and send via wassap

Phoned me back within 30mins with the problem



The overwrap is for the mk1 😪 as the mk1 didn't have a peak hence the poles 😓😭😭😭

So now I'm either going to look out for a mk3 or mk4 wrap or try to modify the mk1 to fit ????

Problems with buying second hand i guess 🤷🤷🤷

Hi Mate

Sorry I didn't see this before or I would have chipped in. I have a 2 Man MK3 Double Top and I also have the overwrap for it, all bought from new back in 2015, and I have hardly used it as it only comes out for sessions over 2 days.

The overwrap simply throws over the existing twin skin bivvy, there shouldn't be any poles involved. Once your bivvy is setup all the poles are already in place, so you literally just throw the third skin over the top of the bivvy, line the door up and peg it down its that simple.

Provides a much bigger porch area. Best bivvy I have ever owned by a country mile.

At least i know what the issue, just in two minds to either
Wait for a mk3/4 overwrap or modify the mk1 wrap ive got
Will keep my eyes open and think on it for a bit
