Never had fox alarms but see some different opinions on these What's everyone's preference if they had the choice

Both brilliant alarms. Chopped my rx digi's for the rx plus a couple of years ago. Nothing wrong with the old one, l nearly died a few months before and indulged myself.
The one thing the digi's do that no other alarm is they can switch from roller to vibration and l wish the pluses could do that.
The receiver for the pluses is a huge improvement over the receiver for the digi's tho.

For me the rx is the best alarm ever made. I have bo plans to change and and buy up the odd spare when I see them at the right price so hopefully never have to swap.

If you are talking about the original RX then I won't be changing mine soon. Whether there are better out of there is bound to cause argument, an argument that I don't need to enter. I'm happy and that's all that matters to me.

I've been thinking about upgrading to the Rx plus, after speaking with Dal at Daletronics. He believes there well made and halfway through the current production cycle before the next version is released. The only fault he's seen is a battery drain issue or perhaps it was a battery leakage issue.
In the end have stuck with my lovingly serviced and cleaned DXR's, which haven't missed a bleep in 25 years!

I had a set of rx digital for some years ... literally wore them out! brilliant but were heavy on batteries.
My son uses a set now.. he loves them.

The heads were fine, lasted ages but the batteries in the receiver didn't last very long. Not unless you got it modified by Dalectronics then it was much improved

Had my Rx's all blue set since approx 2009/10 and they are the only things I've never considered changing. Can't fault them and never had battery issues with them, believe that was with the earlier ones.
Was tempted when they done a limited run of the multi coloured sets but I didn't, did regret that

Yes the earlier ones, I think the font was a slightly different style on the later ones.

Flogged my old Rx digis, bought a new set of Micron X and made a profit on the deal, mainly because the all blue is a pain. I want to know which rod it is when I get 2 bleeps at 3am in January, I don't want to be focusing on the receiver to work out if was the first, second or third led that's lit up. I must be getting old.

Yes I've never got the idea of 3x blue. I bought red, green and blue cheap when those colours were unfashionable, now those retro colours have made a bit of a comeback, not that I'm bothered about fashions but I've had a few comments made by those who are.

Had the RX Digi's for years and absolutely loved them. They never missed a beat. Packed with features. They were a set of all blue and as my eyesight deteriorated with age I converted them to RYG and kept the 4th one blue. I also loved the style of them.
Eventually, concerned about Fox support for a discontinued alarm, I sold them and got a set of TXI+ . I regretted it almost straight away. First thing I discovered was I had to de- sensitise them as I fished on platforms and they would go off if I turned over on the bedchair at night so that was one of their primary features lost from the outset. Then came the rain issues then the reciever problems so I got rid. Got a set of Stainless Nash Nevilles, heavily modified by Daletronics ( radio remote, underlit rollers, variable tone and volume etc).
If I ever needed to replace these I would be looking at the same again or a set of RX digi's. Sometimes old is good 👍With companies like Daletronics, Kudos etc now available, old alarms are a good buy again.
